Velayuthampalayam [வேலாயுதம்பாளையம்] is a town located in Karur District in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It comes under the jurisdiction of Punjai Pugalur Town Panchayat. This town is situated on the footsteps of Pugali Malai Arunattan Malai, which houses Lord Murugan. The river Cauvery is 3 kilometers away from the town.It is very close to TNPL Kagithapuram. The adjacent places are TNPL Kagithapuram, Thottakuritchi and Karappalayam.

    i hate velayuthampalayam, because i got married in velayuthampalayam sujatha daughter of Rengarajan and also i got girl baby but still i am staying alone, sujatha and her mother told, she interested in second marriage somebudy ready give the money in second marriage, so her mother told to me "Who is told that this your baby", kalyanam agittal ival un manavi agivuduvala endral. so that i hate velayuthampalayam.
